Abstract: Tin-SBA-15 (n = 1, 2, 3) with layers of –Ti–O groups was prepared by vapor-solid surface modification on SAB-15. Au was deposited and Au particles were limited in the mesoporous channels. Au/Tin-SBA-15 exhibited a wide range of catalytic activity (50–500 oC) for CO oxidation, excellent storage stability, and cycle reproducibility.
