Abstract: ZSM-5 zeolite was prepared from the amorphous SiO2:Al2O3:TPAOH:Na2O system in H2O vapor phase. The obtained samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, etc. Compared with the hydrothermal method, using the vapor-phase method could easily synthesize ZSM-5 zeolite with uniform particle size. The particle size was between 150 and 250 nm. It also showed a better catalytic performance with CH4 conversion as high as 17.5% and better life time.
