Preparation of Supported Cu-BiVO4 Photocatalyst and Its Application in Oxi-dative Removal of Toluene in Air

Abstract: A Cu-BiVO4 visible-light photocatalyst was prepared by impregna- tion of Cu(NO3)2 with hydrothermally prepared BiVO4. This composite after calcination and dispersion in a TEOS sol was immobilized onto stainless steel mesh. The removal rate of toluene is increased due to the hetero-junctions between CuO and BiVO4, and 5%Cu-BiVO4 has the highest activity.
